Today work began on the newly dubbed "Ratt Trail" which will serve as our connection trail to Trail 100 from our apartment. It is hardly used, let along by mtn bikers with plenty of brush and rocks along the way. More info on the trail coming soon!
OK, So I didn't go from worst to first, but I made to 8th overall and 3rd in class! I am now tied for first place in the points with one event remaining. The best part is why did I start last and how did I pass 50+ riders!
I can't think of a better way to start the season than with a win! DCB Adventures held their first event of the 2008 Dust Devil Championship @ Estrella Mountain and it was the perfect place for us to start this championship. Located right next to PIR where we normally race cars, we felt right at home on this singletrack.
