After making my succesful racing debut @ the Whiskey OffRoad I decided to get the bike a full rebuild and get some new components.
I had the bike torn down to just the frame so I could repair some novice crashes and repaint the swingarm. After that it was back to the www.swissamerican.com to have the shocks rebuilt, new components put on and some extra grease love added. Now the upgrades:) I added Tubeless Bonatrager Rhythm Comps and Tires. As well as fixed my nagging brake issue by going with Avid Juicy 5's. Let me tell you after riding my bike with straight fucked up rims and brakes for more than 8months to then go with straight as in like an arrow and even better working wheel and brakes holy shit my bike is FAST! With every pedal stroke I could tell it was way easier to move and much faster. A good feeling after spending $600+ on my bike! |
